As the owner and principle photographer of Camera Poetica, I take great pride in offering you the best experience and images possible.

 

I am a professional photographer with a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design. My studies did include photography and I loved the darkroom. My wedding photography skills have developed significantly from that first 35mm film wedding in 2003. These days, I take full advantage of all the perks that the digital darkroom has to offer, as well as the experience that I have gained over my 13 years with SLR cameras.

 

Being recently married myself (Sept. 2012), I now know what it feels like on the other side of the camera. Let's just say that I wish I could have worked my own wedding. This has renewed my resolve to be the very best with a surprisingly quick turn-around time.

 

 

Why weddings?

 

I've enjoyed taking photos for decades, but when I share images of my travels, perspectives or loved ones, my photographic memories can never be appreciated by others as their own.

 

On the other hand, wedding photos are completely different. Whether you are the bride, groom, parents, wedding party or guests, these images burn brightly as some of your own key life moments.

 

That is what I want to be a part of, and what I want to help share with as many people as possible.
